Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a use feeling by allowing an operation state to be easily confirmed by visual inspection, regarding an air cleaner.SOLUTION: An air cleaner includes: a body case 1 having an intake port 4 and an exhaust port 2; an air passage for communicating the intake port 4 and the exhaust port 2; air cleaning means and blower means provided in the air passage; a front decorative plate 3 provided at the front surface of the body case 1; and driving means for moving the front decorative plate 3. The intake port 4 includes: a first intake port 9 provided at least on one side surface of the body case 1; and a second intake port 10 provided at the front surface lower part of the body case 1. By moving the lower part of the front decorative plate 3 up/down and front/back by the driving means with the upper part of the front decorative plate 3 being the rotation center, at least an opening area of the second intake port 10 out of the opening area of the first intake port 9 and the second intake port 10 varies. The front decorative plate 3 protrudes gradually to the front side of the body case 1 toward a lower end from the middle of the front decorative plate 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
