Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obviate the generation of a trouble at the time of mounting after washing an electrostatic precipitation means by providing operation regulating means which enable the free attachment and detachment of the electrostatic precipitation means and prohibit the operation of the electrostatic precipitation means only for the prescribed time after mounting of the electrostatic precipitation means.
CONSTITUTION: The electrostatic precipitation device 4 consisting of a prefilter 3, an ionizing electrode 42 and an electrostatic precipitation electrode 42 and a deodorizing filter 5 are disposed between a suction port 11 and a blasting means 2. The filters 3, 5 and the electrostatic precipitation electrode 42 are taken in an open state out of a device body 1 by rotating the panel at the front surface of the device body 1 and receive a maintenance operation. The electrostatic precipitation electrode 42 is removed in order to clean the dust accumulated on the electrostatic precipitation electrode 42. The electrode is then washed with water. An analog switch is held off and a high-voltage discharge unit is held de-energized before timing out of a timer even if the above-mentioned electrode held stuck with water drops is remounted to the device body 1; therefore, the operation of the electrostatic precipitation device 4 in the wet state of the electrostatic precipitation electrode 42 does not arise.
