Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner detecting the contamination of indoor air to perform proper air cleaning.
SOLUTION: An air cleaner is constituted of a sensor 5 optically detecting a particle component, a memory means storing the detection signals of the sensor as a plurality of detection data at a predetermined interval within a predetermined time, a reference value judging means 8 setting the lowest value of a plurality of detection data as a reference value, an air amt. determining means 9 comparing the reference value of the reference value judging means 8 and the detection signal of the sensor to determine an air vol., a blower 2 controlled on the basis of air vol. by the air vol. determining means 9 and the filter 6 provided to the air passage of the blower 2 to remove a contaminant in air and the lowest value rewritten at a predetermined interval within a predetermined time after the elapse of a definite value is set to a reference value to operate an air cleaner main body 1.
