Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an air cleaner of a more compact size by fulfilling its ability to collect dusts and to deodorize maximumly and simultaneously to assure its low cost and driving liability.
SOLUTION: In air circulating pass 16 that has fan 11, dust collecting filter 22, odor absorbing filter 23 that consists of activated carbon to absorb odor components and photocatalyst filter 26 that consists of photocatalyst that resolves odor component by oxidation are arranged like layers toward the direction of the air circulation. By this composition, dusts are captured by the dust collecting filter 22, and also, odor components and so on in the air are removed cooperatively by both of absorbing function at the filter 23 and resolving and oxidizing function at the filter 26, thus, its highly efficient deodorizing ability can be realized. The deodorizing ability becomes so high that the area of the deodorizing filter can be small, and then, a compact size of air cleaner can be made.
