Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner provided with an air filter capable of reducing manufacturing cost and transportation cost, and being easily abandoned.
SOLUTION: This air cleaner is provided with an air filter 3. The air filter 3 consists only of a rectangular filter medium in plan view which is folded in pleats and supported. In a filter fitting part 2 of a purifier casing 1, a support body 11 for folding and supporting at least one side end edge part of the air filter 3 is integrally formed. And in the filter fitting part 2 of the cleaner casing 1, together with the support body 11 for folding and supporting at least one side end edge part of the air filter 3, a support body arranged in parallel to the support body 11 for folding and supporting the approximately central part of the air filter 3 may be integrally formed.
