Abstract:
To provide a low noise air cleaner by reducing operating noises of a motor.
A fan motor 4 constituted of a fan 4a and a motor 4b is provided on the side of a suction inlet 1 in a housing 3 with the suction inlet 1 and an exhaust outlet 2. A filter 5 is provided on the side of the exhaust outlet 2 in the housing 3. A foul sensor 6 is provided in the housing 3, and the fan motor 4 is controlled by output signals of the foul sensor 6. A first sound insulating component 8 is so provided as to encircle the motor 4b with the fan 4a. A second sound insulating component 9 is so provided as to overlap with the end edge of the first sound insulating component 8 in the housing 3.
