Abstract:
To provide an air cleaning apparatus capable of efficiently irradiating a photocatalyst filter with light.SOLUTION: A filter unit 20 comprises an air cleaning apparatus for cleaning air using a photocatalyst filter 24. In the filter unit 20, a light-emitting diode D1 which is a first irradiation member is arranged upstream of an air inflow plane 24A of the photocatalyst filter 24, whereas a light-emitting diode D2 which is a second irradiation member is arranged downstream of an air outflow plane 24B of the photocatalyst filter 24. The light-emitting diode D2 is arranged opposite to a section different from a section where the intensity of light emitted by the light-emitting diode D1 is highest in the air outflow plane 24B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
