Abstract:
To clean air of a wide space by separating a collecting machine from an ion generator.
This air cleaning system has the ion generator 1 which continuously releases ions deviated to either plus or minus into the air, ion flow forming means 12 and 21 which form flow in the ions and the collecting machine 2 having a filter 23 which is installed in the ion flow 3 at a place apart from the ion generator 1, has a multiplicity of air passages 23a non-parallel with the flow direction of the ion flow 3 and is charged to the polarity reverse from the polarity of the ion flow 3.
