Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compression system capable of lowering a temperature of compressed air to be discharged to save installation of an aftercooler.SOLUTION: An air compression system includes a water addition-type compressor 2, a separator tank 3 and a water cooler 5. The separator tank 3 is configured to perform gas-liquid phase separation to discharge fluid from the compressor 2, and to a gas phase part, a compressed air delivery path 11 is connected, while to a liquid phase part, an added water return path 4 to the compressor 2 is connected. The water cooler 5 is provided in the added water return path 4, and configured to cool added water with a freezer 15. The air compression system is configured to monitor an evaporation temperature of refrigerant in an evaporator 19 with a temperature sensor 27 and control a refrigerant compressor 16 based on a detection temperature, to thereby prevent freezing of added water. The air compression system can adjust, based on a discharge side temperature of the compressor 2, the amount of added water to the compressor 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
