Abstract:
To provide an air compressor enabling improvement of convenience of drain discharge work.SOLUTION: An air compressor 1A includes: a compressed-air generation section; tanks 11a, 11b for storing compressed-air generated by the compressed-air generation section; a grip section gripped by a user; and a drain discharge mechanism 60 for discharging drain in the tanks 11a, 11b by releasing the tanks 11a, 11b to the atmosphere. The drain discharge mechanism 60 includes: a valve 63 enabling switching between an open state where the tanks 11a, 11b are communicated with the atmosphere and a close state where the tanks 11a, 11b are not communicated with the atmosphere; a first operation section 61 provided in the grip section; and a wire 64 for transmitting movement of the first operation section 61 to the valve 63. When the first operation section 61 is operated, the state of the valve 63 is switched via the wire 64.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
