Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a small-sized formation of an air compressor.SOLUTION: There is provided an air take-out part 10C for an air compressor 10 for generating compressed air. An air take-out pipe passage arranged at an upper part of a tank part 10B storing compressed air is arranged to extend in a central direction of the air compressor main body and in a direction crossing at a right angle with an axis of a longitudinal direction of the tank. The air take-out part comprises a pressure reduction valve 33 and a pressure gauge 35. The pressure gauge is connected to the air take-out pipe passage at a different angle of that of the pressure reduction valve. The air take-out part is fixed near the center of the tank. Since the air take-out part is arranged near the center of the air compressor, the air take-out port may become to be positioned at the central part of the air compressor main body and in an opposing space of a pair of tanks. With this arrangement as above, it is possible to detach a hose for a tool without being hindered by a grip for use in carrying the main body. In addition to this arrangement, since component elements constituting the air take-out part such as the pressure reduction valve or the pressure gauge are arranged to approach to each other, this invention has an actual advantage that the air compressor main body can be made more compact in size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
