Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compressor that enables improvement of cooling efficiency by using a cooling fan.SOLUTION: A cooling fan 8b includes a back board 202 as a plate-like portion that is formed on a flat plate having a normal in a direction of a motor rotating shaft 5, and on the back board 202, a blade 200 extending approximately in parallel with the motor rotating shaft 5 from the inner side to the outer periphery is formed in the centrifugal manner. A ring portion 201 is formed at an outer peripheral end of the cooling fan 8b. The ring portion 201 has a cylindrical shape approximately in parallel with the motor rotating shaft 5 and extends from the back board 202 to a heating surface 203. When a motor 4 is operated, outside air is sucked by the cooling fan 8b from a ventilator window 29b like an air current CA10, and is guided to the central portion of the cooling fan 8b. After flowing like an air current CA11 along the back board 202 to the outer peripheral side of the cooling fan 8b, the air current CA10 is deflected by the ring portion 201, flows toward the heating surface 203 to collide and further flows on the heating surface 203 from the cooling fan 8b radially.
