Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compressor that causes low noise while ensuring portability and workability.SOLUTION: An air compressor includes a compression part 30, a drive part for driving the compression part 30, a tank part 50 disposed below the compression part 30 and stores compressed-air, and a control part for detecting the pressure in the tank part 50 and controlling the drive of the compression part 30 by the drive part. A body part is constituted of at least the compression part 30, the drive part 20, the tank part 50, and the control part. The compression part 30 is provided with a holding part 34 extending parallel to the longitudinal direction of the tank part 50. The holding part 34 is positioned above the centroid of the body part. The air compressor includes an upper cover part 11 covering the body part. The upper cover part 11 is fixed to a part other than the compression part 30 in the body part. In the upper cover part 11, an opening 11a with a gap for preventing the holding part 34 and the compression part 30 from contacting with the upper cover part 11 is provided above the compression part 30.
