Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce striking sound resulting from contact between a piston and a cylinder, without increasing time and labor required for assembling the piston into the cylinder.SOLUTION: A reciprocal type air compressor 1 has: cylinders 51a, 51b; pistons 52a, 52b reciprocating in the cylinders 51a, 51b; and rider rings 70a, 70b mounted on the outer peripheral surfaces of the pistons 52a, 52b and reciprocating integrally with the pistons 52a, 52b.
