Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a cooling effect on objects to be cooled in an air compressor without upsizing a cooling fan.SOLUTION: An air compressor 1 comprises: a cooling fan 70; a motor 20 as a first object to be cooled to which cooling air generated by the cooling fan 70 is supplied and that has a smaller outside diameter than that of the cooling fan 70; and a compressed air generation part 30 as a second object to be cooled to which cooling air generated by the cooling fan 70 is supplied and that has a larger outside diameter than that of the motor 20. The cooling fan 70, the motor 20, and the compressed air generation part 30 are arranged coaxially in a line in this order, and a portion in an axial direction of the motor 20 is located radially inside the cooling fan 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
