Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air compressor which easily and unfailingly discharges drain in an air tank.SOLUTION: An air compressor generates and stores compressed-air. The air compressor includes: a compressed-air generation part which generates the compressed-air; an air tank 10b in which the compressed-air generated by the compressed-air generation part is stored; and a drain discharge mechanism 80 which discharges drain in the air tank 10b. The drain discharge mechanism 80 includes: a drain storage part 81 provided at a lower part of the air tank 10b; and a drain valve 82 including an atmospheric air open port allowing the drain storage part 81 to communicate with the atmospheric air and a valve body which opens or closes the atmospheric air open port. A bottom part 81a of the drain storage part 81 is positioned below a bottom surface 101 of the air tank 10b in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
