Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency inside of an air compressor and to reduce noise.SOLUTION: An air compressor 10 has a long guide plate 20 along a longitudinal direction of an air tank 12b to hide a clearance at the lower portion in the longitudinal direction of two air tanks. Thus, cooling air having cooled an air compression mechanism and a control portion is not discharged from the lower portion in the longitudinal direction of two air tanks, but discharged to the external through front and rear exhaust portions of the two air tanks, and as a result, re-suction of the warmed discharge air (cooling air) can be prevented, so that cooling efficiency inside of the air compressor 10 can be improved. Furthermore, noise radiated from a part largely opened at the lower portion in the longitudinal direction of the two air tanks is shielded by the guide plate 20, so that noise of the air compressor 10 can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
