Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a cooling effect on objects to be cooled in an air compressor without upsizing a cooling fan.SOLUTION: An air compressor 1 comprises: a motor 20 comprising a stator 21, a rotor 22, and a motor rotating shaft 23 integrated with the rotor 22 and penetrating the rotor 22; and a cooling fan 70 provided on a protruding part of the motor rotating shaft 23 protruding from the rotor 22 to generate an air flow toward the motor 20. The cooling fan 70 includes: a centrifugal fan 80 integrated with the motor rotating shaft 23; and an axial fan 90 integrated with the centrifugal fan 80. The axial fan 90 is provided coaxially with the centrifugal fan 80 around the centrifugal fan 80, and surrounds the centrifugal fan 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
