Abstract:
PURPOSE: To supply dry compressed air at a low dew point to a pneumatic equipment or the like speedily and make a whole air compressor compact.
CONSTITUTION: The flow of air within an air passage 12 is detected by a flow sensor 22. When there is air flow within the air passage 12, a reflux control valve 23 is opened to communicate a discharge pipe section 15c with the atmospheric air. When there is no air flow, the reflux control valve 23 is closed to shut the discharge pipe section 15C off from the atmospheric air. When the operation of a pneumatic equipment stops and the flow of air within the air passage 12 stops, the reflux control valve 23 is closed to shut the discharge pipe section 15C off against the atmospheric air. Since it is possible to make dry compressed air at a low dew point remain in the air passage 12 between an air compressor and the pneumatic equipment, it is possible to supply dry compressed air at the low dew point speedily even when the pneumatic equipment is operated after that.
