Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the noise caused by the vibration between a bearing and the boss of a housing by inserting an elastic support member between the bearing fitted between a rotary shaft and the boss and the circular step section of the boss.
CONSTITUTION: A wave washer 101 is inserted between a bearing 21 fitted between a rotary shaft 11 and the boss 19 of a housing 3 and the circular step section 20 of the boss 19 of the housing 3. The wave washer 101 is made of a steel spring and formed in a twisted shape. When such wave washer 101 is inserted, an axial load is applied to the bearing 21, thereby the vibration between the bearing 21 and the boss 19 is suppressed, and noise can be reduced.
