PURPOSE: To economize fuel by a method wherein the reducing state of an engine is detected and when the detected value reaches an intended value the fast idle control is rleased.
CONSTITUTION: A negative pressure operating valve 11 is fixed so as to synchronize with a throttle valve 2 and it is so constituted that mixed gas can be introduced by the operation of the valve into an intake manifold 3 through a mixed gas inlet A. When a negative pressure switch 8 is not in motion and a solenoid valve 7 operates to open the negative pressure operating switch 11, a necessary quantity of mixed gas is taken in through the mixed gas inlet A and idling of engine is increased. When speed is reduced, the contact point of the negative pressure switch 8 is opened, the negative pressure operating valve 11 is closed by the solenoid valve 7 and unnecessary fuel is not supplied during deceleration. In this maner, as fuel is economized an air conditioner can be driven under a refreshing state even when an engine brake is applied.
