Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease air volume and noise from a device, and to permit the device to be cut off at the same time as a fast sleep, by detecting and analyzing the θ wave and the δwave of brain wave generated by sleep, and by automatically controlling the device. SOLUTION: A system controlling an air conditioning device by brain wave automatically comprises a brain wave input means 1, a brain wave analyzing means 2, and a microprocessor for control 4. As the brain wave input means l, an electroencephalograph is used. The brain wave analyzing means 2 comprises an amplifier, a band-pass filter, an A/D converter, and the microprocessor, and analyzes the θ wave concerning a shallow sleep and the δwave concerning a deep sleep. The microprocessor for control 4 decreases the air volume and whizzing sound of the air conditioning device at the time when the θ wave is detected by the analyzing means 2. When a fast sleep is determined due to the enhanced ratio of the δ wave after the δ wave is detected, the operation of the air conditioning device is turned off.
