PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner and a data processing method of the air conditioner capable of easily changing a setting state of functions relating to control of an indoor unit for air conditioning by a simple operation.SOLUTION: An indoor unit for air conditioning has a data storage portion and a data processing portion. The data storage portion stores a setting information table in which a present setting data is stored in a record by every item number to identify a setting item relating to control of the indoor unit for air conditioning. The data processing portion returns the item number of the next record of the item number presently designated in the setting information table and the present setting data, when it acquires first operation information to designate the next item number of the designated item number from a remote control device, and returns item numbers of the record of destination of movement of a prescribed number from the record of the presently designated item number in the setting information table and the present setting data, when it acquires second operation information to designate the next item number of the designated item number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
