To provide an air-conditioner to be installed in a small space on the external upper face of an elevator car, having a reduced height and a compact size and giving internal treatment to drain water condensed in evaporator to prevent it from discharging to the outside of the air-conditioner.
In the air-conditioner for the elevator car, the components of the air-conditioner are planarly arranged to reduce the height of the air-conditioner and part of a condenser with an air plane horizontally arranged is inclined. The drain water dehumidified by the evaporator is sprayed to the inclined condenser with a water spray pipe to give evaporating treatment thereto and a drain sump is provided at the upper part of a compressor where evaporating treatment is also given to the drain water.
