Title:
AIR CONDITIONER HAVING HUMIDIFYING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3430983
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain comfortableness, discharge humid air from outside into an interior and prevent condensate from falling down to the interior by disposing a diffuser for humid air at an upstream side of an indoor heat exchanger of a casing.
SOLUTION: A easing 1 comprises a humid air duct 4 whose end is connected to one end of an indoor connecting hose 3 and an upper end side is located at an upper portion and a reverse inside surface of the casing 1. The casing 1 further comprises a filter 5 at an upstream side of an indoor heat exchanger 2. Humid air is diffused between the filter 5 and the heat exchanger 2 from a diffuser 20 for humid air which is provided at an upper end side of the humid air duct 4. In a heating operation, humid air is diffused from the diffuser 20 of the humid air duct 4 and the humid air is heated by the heat exchanger 2. Thus the condition of the interior is kept comfortable without lowering the temperature of the diffusing air. Further, even in a state where moisture of the humid air diffused from the diffuser 20 of the duct 4 is condensed, the condensate can be recovered from the heat exchanger 2 by a drain pan.
