PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air conditioner indoor unit capable of improving the amenity of users having different body temperatures depending on their attributes (genders) without requiring the operation of a remote controller etc.SOLUTION: When a human face is within a face-recognition region during face-recognition time, a control device 70 of an indoor unit 100 recognizes that the human wants air to be blown towards the oneself and determines the human attribute. When the indoor unit 100 is now in cooling operation or when the operation mode set during the previous shutdown has been the cooling operation, the control device 70 sets a number of revolution per minute of the blower to be a predetermined number of revolution per minute or to be a number of revolution per minute which has been set during the previous shutdown, when the human is a male, and when the human is a female, the control device 70 sets the number of revolution per minute of the blower to be a smaller number of revolution per minute than that set when the human is the male. Air is blown towards the human or towards a place where the human is located by rotating the blower at the set number of revolution per minute.
