Abstract:
This indoor unit (1) of an air conditioner comprises: a unit body (2) that is installed in a ceiling space and configured by a heat exchanger (16) and a blower (21) being housed in a housing (5); and a ceiling panel (3) in which a suction port (35) for drawing in air from an indoor space and a blowout port (36) for blowing out conditioned air in one direction are arranged, and which covers the lower portion of the unit body. The blower has a fan case (28) that protrudes below the lower edge of the housing and surrounds the fan (27). The ceiling panel has: a first inclined portion (51) that covers the protruding portion (32) of the fan case protruding downward, and inclines upward, with the cover portion (3a) which covers the lowest portion (32a) of the protruding portion serving as a base end, to the leading end (51a) toward the side on which the blowout port is disposed; and a second inclined portion (52) that inclines upward, with the cover portion serving as the base end, to the leading end (52a) toward the side opposite from the side on which the blowout port is disposed.
