To provide an air conditioner of natural circulation method capable of improving performance of a heat exchanger by eliminating anxiety about flowability of fluid of the heat exchanger.
A condenser 4 is provided so that refrigerant flows in a heat exchanger pipe 14 from an inlet header 12 positioned at an upper part to an outlet header 13 positioned at a lower part, an evaporator 8 is provided so that the refrigerant flows in a heat exchanger pipe 18 from an inlet header 16 positioned at a lower part to an outlet header 17 positioned at an upper part, and a refrigerant passage in the heat exchanger pipe 14 of the condenser 4 is provided in a vertical direction to a ground surface. A refrigerant passage in the heat exchanger pipe 18 of the evaporator 8 is provided in the vertical direction to the ground surface.
