Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, a refrigerating cycle device, and a refrigerant charging method which omitts the refrigerant charging work at an installation site, and is free from the lowering of the capacity in cooling operation in the air conditioner using a refrigerant natural circulation.
SOLUTION: In this an air conditioner wherein a refrigerant circuit is formed by successively connecting an outdoor unit including at least a condenser 3, a liquid pipe 4, an indoor unit 20 including at least an evaporator 1, and a gas pipe 2, by means of piping, and performing the cooling operation by natural circulation of refrigerant by installing the condenser 3 at a place higher than the evaporator 1, a liquid pipe 36 between an inlet part of the evaporator 1 and the liquid pipe 4, or a gas pipe 35 between an outlet part of the evaporator 1 and the gas pipe 2 is provided with a refrigerant container 5 connected through the piping.
