To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle which can maintain a dehumidifying performance in a good condition, and to provide a control valve suitable for the air conditioner for a vehicle.
The air conditioner 1 for a vehicle includes a compressor 2, an outdoor heat exchanger 5, an indoor evaporator 7 and an auxiliary condenser 3. The air conditioner includes a first refrigerant circulation passage where the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 2 can circulate sequentially through in the auxiliary condenser 3 and the indoor evaporator 7 to return to the compressor, a second refrigerant circulation passage where the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 2 can circular sequentially through the auxiliary condenser 3 and the outdoor heat exchanger 5 to return to the compressor 2, and a third refrigerant circulation passage where the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 2 can circulate sequentially through the outdoor heat exchanger 5 and the indoor evaporator 7 to return to the compressor 2. An expanding device 41 is disposed in a downstream of the auxiliary condenser 3, and a control vale 42 is disposed in a downstream of the expanding device 41, the valve which can adjust proportions of flow rates of the refrigerant respectively supplied to the indoor evaporator 7 and the outdoor heat exchanger 5.
