To perform optimal change control when shifting the drive of a compressor from an independent drive state to a simultaneous drive with respect to an engine or an electric motor or when shifting from the simultaneous drive to the independent drive in the air-conditioner for vehicle equipped with a hybrid type compressor which can drive a first compressor mechanism and a second compressor mechanism selectively or simultaneously.
The air-conditioner for vehicle comprises the hybrid type compressor which has two compressor mechanisms by means of the motor for vehicles and the electric motor, a drive source change control means of the compressor, an electric-motor control means, a cooler for a refrigerating cycle, a number-of-rotations detection means for the motor for vehicles, and a target number-of-rotations calculation means for the electric motor. It provides changes from the state where the compressor is not driven to the simultaneous drive, from the independent drive to the simultaneous drive, or from the simultaneous drive to the independent drive, so as to perform appropriate control based on the number of rotations of the motor for vehicles, or the target number of rotations of the electric motor.
