This air conditioner for vehicle is adapted to integrate the compressor type cooling system with the adsorption heat pump type cooling system. Ammonia is used as a refrigerant. The compressor type cooling system and the adsorption heat pump type cooling system include a common refrigerant passage 18a for passing the refrigerant.
