The number of revolution NA of a compressor is calculated from an air-conditioning load such as the target blowing temperature, so that the number of revolution NB of the compressor is calculated from the residual capacity of the battery (steps 106, 108). The number of revolution NA of the compressor is compared with the number of revolution NB, the compressor is driven by the smaller number of revolution (steps 110-114). A mixture ratio r of the air passing through a heater core and the air bypassing through it is calculated, and an opening S of an air mix damper is calculated to drive the damper, so as to actuate a blowing fan (steps 116-118).
