Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle that can easily and safely secure a space for maintenance or the like of a SRS.SOLUTION: The air conditioner for a vehicle has an air conditioning unit 2 that generates conditioned air with a predetermined temperature and a blower unit 3 that blows air to the air conditioning unit 2, where the air conditioning unit 2 and the blower unit 3 are arranged side by side in a vehicle lateral direction. The blower unit 3 has an upper case 10 and a lower case 20, and has upper case attaching/detaching means 4 that attaches/detaches the upper case 10 to/from the lower case 20 by moving the upper case 10 in a vehicle longitudinal direction.
