Title:
AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06137699
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To meet the reduction in weight of a vehicle sufficiently while maintaining a suitable environment, when desired cooling is obtained.

CONSTITUTION: A Stirling refrigerator 1 operated by a vehicle engine is adopted and heat is absorbed from air in a car room by fins 24, while a water jacket 22 is connected to a cooling circuit of the vehicle engine by a piping 23. Since a working gas absorbs the heat when it is subjected to isothermal expansion, the inside of the car room is cooled by the fins 24 without using flon, and a capacitor is dispensed with for a vehicle. Although the working gas is heated when it is subjected to isothermal compression, no peculiar radiator is needed since the water jacket 22 releases the heat into water circulating through the cooling circuit of the vehicle engine.
