PURPOSE: To dissolve an expedience of continuing warm-up, the cause of which has been heretofore unknown, in a vehicular air-conditioner with automatic air-conditioning function and warm-up function.
CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided with a water valve 26 for stopping the supply of cooling water to a heater core 22 when an air mixing damper 24 closes the heater core 22 at the maximum cooling time or the like, and the heater core 22 is provided with a heating side temperature sensor 33 for detecting the temperature of air and cooling water passing the heater core 22. This air-conditioner is provided with warm-up function for stopping the operation of an air blower 4 when the temperature of the cooling water is low, and automatic air-conditioning function for controlling the opening of the air mixing damper 24 even at the warm-up time. At the warm-up time, the air mixing damper 24 is opened, and the water valve 26 is opened. Then the temperature rise of the cooling water can be detected positively by the heating side temperature sensor 33 so as to dissolve the ill condition of continuing warm-up.
