Abstract:

To reduce a pressure loss at a confluent part of air from a first and a second air passages when an inside/outside air two-layer flow mode is not set, in an air-conditioner for a vehicle capable of setting the inside/outside two-layer flow mode.

When a supply mode wherein air is simultaneously supplied from both a foot supply opening part and a defroster supply opening part is set by a film-form supply mode door 45, an inside/outside air two-layer flow mode wherein inside air through inside air suction ports 5a, 5b, and 5c is supplied through a foot supply opening part after the flow of it through first air passages 13 and 14, and outside air through outside air suction ports 4a, 4b, and 4c is supplied through a defroster supply opening part after a flow of it through second air passages 12 and 15 is set. Meanwhile, in the supply mode of each of a face, a bi-level, and a defroster, air from the first air passages 13 and 14 and the second air passages 12 and 15 are confluent in a spot situated downstream from a supply mode door 45 and guided to a given supply opening part selected from a plurality of supply opening port parts.
