Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain comfortable air conditioning suited to the feeling temperatures of seated and standing men by installing a motor-driven movable louver on a blow-out port and controlling the movable louver and a room blower via a passenger rate detecting sensor. CONSTITUTION:Room blowers 6 for switching over a room circulating air quantity in two stages and wind direction varying devices 7 which are driven by geared motors while being airtightly connected in alignment to the blowers 6 respectively are provided inside an air conditioner body 5 on the roof of a vehicle 1. A motor-driven movable louver 9 is rotatably installed on the blow- out port 8 of each wind direction varying device 7 and, by varying its position, blown-out air can be switched over and sent to a seat side and a center passage side. Hence, e.g., at the time of cooling, when the number of passengers are judged less than full seats by a passenger rate detecting sensor 3, a ventilation mode or a low cooling mode is adopted by a room temperature sensor 4 and the blown-out air is directed to the seat side. At the time of more than full seats, the blown-out air is directed to the passage side while adopting a high cooling mode. Accordingly, comfortable air conditioning can be obtained.
