Abstract:
To guide pollutants generated from a person indoors quickly to a suction port without dispersing them indoors, while air-conditioning the indoors, by properly adjusting the wind direction of a blowout port.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: an indoor unit 3 including a suction port 6 arranged on a ceiling surface of an air-conditioning target space; a plurality of blowout ports 7 arranged at a side edge of the air-conditioning target space; wind direction control means 8 capable of adjusting the wind direction of the air blown out from the plurality of blowout ports 7 from the direction going toward right below the blowout ports to the direction going toward right below the suction port 6; person indoors detection means 10 for detecting the position of a person indoors existing in the air-conditioning target space; airflow reaching region setting means for setting an airflow reaching region so as to include the position of the person indoors 10 and the suction port 6; and a control device for controlling the wind direction of the air blown out from the plurality of blowout ports 7 to face a boundary of the airflow reaching region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
