PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner in which the number of packed valves is reduced, and erroneous connection of a connecting tube, a labor hour of air purging operation, etc., are reduced whole decreasing a heat leakage.

CONSTITUTION: First, second valves 42, 43 for simultaneously opening/closing a packed vale 41 for connecting first, second indoor units 33, 34 in parallel with an outdoor unit 32 by operating a valve disc provided in a valve body are provided to connect connecting tubes 52, 53, 55, 56 of refrigerant introducing and discharging sides of both the corresponding units 33, 34 to the valves 42, 43. Thus, only one valves 41 may.be respectively provided at the refrigerant introducing and discharging sizes, the tubes having low temperature difference are not erroneously connected to the valve 41, and heat leakage through the valve 41 is reduced. Further, the vales 42, 43 are simultaneously opened or closed by operating the valve disc to be conducted without necessity of air purging operation.
