To reduce a noise caused by a vibration of piping and to prevent a damage of the piping caused by the vibration by coupling a compressor to a rigid body.
In the air conditioner 11, a refrigerating cycle 12 is constituted by assembling, for example, two compressors 13, 14 with piping 15. The compressors 13, 14 are clamped onto a fixing plate 16 having large rigidity at compressor bottoms 13a, 14a with compressor clamping bolts 17 or the like, rigidly installed. The plate 16 is elastically supported onto an air conditioner housing 18 with a plurality of compressor supporting legs 19 formed of an elastic member such as vibration-proof rubber or the like. Thus, since the compressors are rigidly coupled to one another and installed on the plate 16, overall inertial amount and moment can be increased, vibrations of the compressors are reduced, and a propagation of the vibration to piping 1 connected to the compressors is reduced, thereby effectively preventing noise or damage of the piping 15.
