An air conditioning target room 1 is provided with a floor chamber 3 to function as an air supply chamber, and a ceiling chamber 5 to function as a return air chamber. Either one mode of a heat storage operation mode wherein heat storage is executed to a slab facing the ceiling chamber 5 by supplying air from an air conditioner 7 directly to the ceiling chamber 5 and returning the air directly from there for performing circulation, a stored heat preserving operating mode wherein the supply air from the air conditioner is supplied to the floor chamber 3 and diffused from there into the room, and return air is returned from inside the room directly to the air conditioner for circulation, and a stored heat application operation mode wherein the supply air from the air conditioner is supplied to the floor chamber 3 and diffused from there to the room and the return air from inside the room is returned to the air conditioner via the ceiling chamber 5 for circulation, can be selected.
