To obtain a gas-liquid separator having an improved gas-liquid separating capacity, relating to the gas-liquid separator used in a refrigeration cycle of an air conditioner wherein gas is injected.

The gas-liquid separator comprises a circular cylindrical side wall part extended vertically to constitute a main body, disc shaped upper wall and lower wall fabricated separately and a partition plate for vertically dividing the lower part of the main body into a first space section and a second space section. In the separator, a first refrigerant pipe connected to a first pressure reducing device is disposed within the first space section and opened against the lower wall, a second refrigerant pipe connected to a second pressure reducing device is disposed within the second space section and opened against the lower wall, and a third refrigerant pipe connected to an injection pipe is opened in the upper part of the main body.
