To provide an air conditioner in which a front intake grill correspond ing to an inlet on the front face of the body can be easily removed from a front panel for cleaning.
This air conditioner is constituted by a support part 11 having a locking claw 11c to be mounted on a mounting part 11b provided on the front panel 8 having a locking hole 11a and locked by the locking hole 11a and a slit c extending vertically, a bearing part 11e provided with an elastically deformable bearing hole 11d and having a protruded piece d projecting inward from one peripheral edge of the slit c, and a spindle body 11h rotatably supported by the bearing part 11e and provided with a spindle 11f provided on the front panel 8 and formed with the cross section of a polygon, and when the front intake grill 12 is opened by a predetermined angle or more, the spindle 11f has its angle part engaged with the protruded piece d to make removable from the slit c of the enlarged bearing hole 11d.
