This air conditioner is provided with a plurality of suction ports 20, 22, and 24 formed in a body case 11 and communicating with the insides of a plurality of rooms, a ventilation fan 14 installed in the body case 11, and an exhaust port 17 exhausting the air inside the rooms sucked from the suction ports 20, 22, and 24 by the ventilation fan 14 to the outside of a building. The suction ports 20, 22, and 24 are set to such sizes that the opening areas thereof are in proportion to distances L1, L2, and L3 between the suction ports 20, 22, and 24 and the ventilation fan 14.
