Abstract:

To provide an air conditioner capable of securing air-conditioning capacity of an indoor unit well even when an outdoor unit is performing avoidance control.

The air conditioner comprises one or more indoor units 1 for performing air-conditioning; a plurality of outdoor units 2 supplying a refrigerant to the indoor units 1; a refrigerant piping system 3 connecting the respective outdoor units 2 to the respective indoor units 1; and a control part 4 for controlling the operation of the outdoor units 2. The control part 4 comprises a totaling means for obtaining the total air-conditioning load by adding air-conditioning load demanded from each indoor unit 1; a command means for outputting a command physical amount related to the operation of each outdoor unit 2, to each outdoor unit 2 based on the totaling means; a detecting means for detecting the physical amount related to the present operation of each outdoor unit 2; a feedback means for obtaining the difference between the command physical amount and the detected physical amount, and a corrective command means for giving an operation command to the other outdoor unit 2 in a direction to reduce the difference when there is the difference between the command physical amount and the detected physical amount in at least one outdoor unit 2.
