Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner, capable of preventing formation of mayonnaise sludge even in a state having a low air conditioning load.
The air conditioner 1 adapted to perform air conditioning operation by driving a compressor 31 by a water-cooled engine 40 comprises a clutch 38 for transmitting power of the engine 40 to the compressor 31; and an engine control device 60a for operating, upon input of a stop instruction to the compressor 31, the engine 40 for a predetermined time after interrupting the transmission of power to the compressor 31 by the clutch 38, and then executing compressor stopping processing for stopping the engine.
