This air conditioner comprises a housing having a suction opening and a supply opening, a blower 6 disposed in the housing, sucking the indoor air from the suction opening and supplying the air from the supply opening, a wind direction louver 9 disposed at the supply opening for changing the direction of the wind supplied from the supply opening, and a control device 10 for controlling the blower 6. The control device 10 controls to increase a rotating speed of the blower 6 in accordance with the change of ventilation resistance of the wind direction louver 9 from a small angle to a large angle.
