To provide an air conditioner capable of reducing power consumption by controlling a rate of wind supplied from each air outlet.
This air conditioner includes: a housing 21 disposed on a ceiling; an air inlet 7 formed on a bottom face of the housing for sucking the indoor air; the plurality of air outlets 31, 32, 33, 34 formed around the air inlet for supplying the air indoors; a plurality of sensors 35, 36, 37, 38 disposed on the bottom face of the housing for detecting indoor heat source; and wind direction control louvers 41, 42, 43, 44 disposed across the plurality of air outlets turnably with respective edges of the air inlet as turning center axes, respectively. Openings of the louvers are larger than opening areas of the air outlets, respectively, and are controlled to suppress the air supplied toward the position where the heat source is not detected, on the basis of signals of the plurality of sensors.
