Abstract:

To provide an air conditioner which includes a plurality of indoor units for air-conditioning in a two-circuit method, and can detect erroneous connection on a load circuit side.

During air vent operation in which a load side refrigerant is injected in a load circuit B and air in the load circuit B is vented to the outside, for each of a plurality of indoor units 3, a piping inlet temperature detected by a piping inlet temperature detector 16 and a piping outlet temperature detected by a piping outlet temperature detector 17 are repeatedly detected. The presence of erroneous connection is determined in an indoor unit 3 in the following case: a temperature difference between a piping inlet temperature and a piping outlet temperature is a first predetermined value or lower at an initial stage of starting air vent operation, then the piping outlet temperature becomes lower than the piping inlet temperature by a second predetermined value or larger which is larger than the first predetermined value, and furthermore, a temperature difference between the piping inlet temperature and the piping outlet temperature becomes a third predetermined value or smaller which is smaller than the second predetermined value.
